| 4G will change the way users will look and feel about Internet. It is pretty safe to say that the 4G or LTE is still in it's initial stages of development in India. But, the ultra fast mobile Internet technology could soon become a house hold thing. After all, who wouldn't want speeds of up to 100 megabits per second, it would mean elimination of buffering for videos, seamless multiplayer gaming and super fast downloads. Airtel in an attempt to push the consumption of fourth-generation wireless broadband services in India, have slashed prices of 4G services by 30%, bringing it closer to 3G rates. Airtel is currently the only operator to be providing 4G services in four circles - including Kolkata, Bangalore, Chandigarh and Pune. The telco has launched two ranges of plans, one is for entry level users and the other is for extensive data users. According to the revised tariff plans, 4G customers will be able to get access to 2GB, 3GB and 4GB of data for Rs 450, Rs 650 and Rs 750 respectively. The above plans constitute entry level range. As for the extensive data usage plans, users will be able to get 10GB, 12GB,15GB, 25GB, 45GB and 80GB at Rs. 999, Rs 1,299, Rs 1,449, Rs 2,049, Rs 2,999 and Rs 4,799 respectively. Also, subscribers of these plans will get free access to movies and games library of BigFlix and Indiagames.
