A limited edition Rapid Prestige diesel sedan has been introduced by Skoda Auto India today. It is being offered to customers for a limited period only and is priced at Rs 9 lakhs, ex-showroom, New Delhi. The new Rapid Prestige Edition will make its way into markets with outstanding interior and exterior features besides navigation and infotainment features that sets this vehicle apart. Sporting a 1.6 TDI diesel engine with manual transmission, the vehicle will have peak power of 105 PS at 4400 rpm and peak torque at 250 Nm between 1500 to 2500 rpm. The limited edition Rapid Prestige will also sport a host of safety features such as driver and front passenger airbags, anti lock braking system, anti pinch windows and one touch operation for electrically adjustable windows. The vehicle will also be equipped with Skoda 2-Din integrated audio player, SD/MMC data card reader and security code for audio player. Seats for front passenger will be electrically adjustable along with adjustable and length adjustable steering wheel.
