New Delhi: Nokia has officially launched the Lumia 525, the successor of its highly popular Lumia 520. The newly launched phone comes with loads of nifty software and hardware features. In short, the phone is worthy of earning the value-for-money title.
The new phone packs pretty much the same specifications seen inside its predecessor, but comes with a bump in RAM capacity and an updated Lumia Black operating system.
Lumia 525 has a 4.0-inch WVGA IPS LCD screen with pixel density of 235 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on the Windows Phone 8 OS with Lumia Black update.
The device is powered by the 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU with 1GB RAM and has 8GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card). The idea behind RAM expansion seems to be making the smartphone future-proof, given that some Windows Phone 8 apps requiring this amount to run.
The Nokia Lumia 525 offers the same swappable covers (orange, yellow or white) and the polycarbonate style-jacking iPhone 5c.
