Demand 5 for Windows Phone 8 is restricted to the UK, so you won't be able to use it when travelling abroad but it does allow you to watch a host of TV shows across its network: Channel 5, 5* and 5USA.

It works just as smoothly on the Nokia Lumia 520 as it does the Nokia Lumia 1020, giving you seven days of catchup TV. The app is free but as with the channel you will find that shows are broken up with adverts.
Following in the footsteps of the recently launched Channel 4 for Windows Phone 8 app, you'll find it offers a neat and simple interface that opens on Featured programmes but with a swipe you can view Recent, Shows, which is an alphabetical breakdown of what's on offer and then Categories from Documentaries to Soap and Sports.
To make the most of the app you'l need to you have a WiFi connection and while it doesn't offer everything available on the full TV service, Channel 5 are adding new content all the time.
