Srinagar, Aug 23: Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray was rolled out in the Valley.
The car was unveiled simultaneously at three different authorized dealerships of the company in the Valley.
Jamkash Vehicleades
Jamkash Vehicleades Kashmir Pvt Limited unveiled the Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray. With this, the company has expanded its portfolio and enriched it to meet aspirations of young India.
The new Stingray from the country's largest passenger car maker is an appealing compact car, incorporating various cosmetic upgrades to distinguish itself from the older Wagon R.
The chief guest on the occasion was Vaqar ul Mulk Nazki, Vice President, JK Bank, Zonal Office, Kashmir Central. He unveiled the vehicle in presence of Shafat Ahmed Branch Head - JK Bank, Vikas Saini (Regional Service Manager) and Himanshu Asopa (Area Sales Manager MSIL).
Present on the occasion were also Ranveer Singh Kalra (Area Service Manager , MSIL), Rushil Dembla, Amit Choudhary, TSM MSIL, and Irfan Ahmed Managing Director, Jamkash Vehicleades Kashmir Pvt Ltd. Col. M. A. Khan (GM, Jamkash) was also present.
Peaks Auto
The vehicle was unveiled at Peaks Auto by M. Altaf Gani- Cluster Head, JK Bank in presence of Haji Nazir, Abdul Hameed, Imtiyaz, Branch Head, JK Bank, Baldev Singh-MD & CEO, Peaks Auto, Himanshu-Area Manager MSIL, Rushil Dembla –TSM MSIL.
Sporting some high-end-features, usually associated with premium cars, Stingray is a refreshing package. These features include expressive projector headlamps and stylish reflector grille to name some. The expressive projector lamps are first-of-its-kind on a car in this class of vehicles. Stingray will be available in Lxi and Vxi variants (ABS and Driver Airbag are optional in Vxi).

Stingray will be available in Lxi and Vxi variants (ABS and Driver Airbag are optional in Vxi).

The Stingray blue themed instrument cluster is all new with multi information display that shows Instant and Average fuel economy, distance to empty etc.
The leather wrap steering wheel and steering mounted audio controls, also usually associated with premium models, will delight the Stingray buyers (VXi option).
Stingray is powered by the highly acclaimed 998cc three-cylinder K-series engine. The K-10 engine on Stingray delivers a power of 68PS @ 6200rpm and a high torque of 90Nm @ 3500 rpm.
