PlayStation 4. Photo: AFP Sony capped its August 20 Gamescom presentation with dates for the PlayStation 4, which will launch in North America on November 15 and in European regions on November 29. The European date includes launches in Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, but no dates were given for South East Asia and Japan -- even in Sony's Japanese press release. Instead, the computer entertainment company's Japanese branch called for a mid-afternoon press conference on September 9, ten days prior to the opening of the Tokyo Game Show. The console will be supported by 15 disc-based titles at launch, including vibrant all-ages platformer "Knack," social racing game "DriveClub," and futuristic shooter "Killzone: Shadow Fall," as well non-exclusives by way of "Assassin's Creed IV," "Battlefield 4," "Call of Duty: Ghosts," "Just Dance 2014," "Lego Marvel Super Heroes," "Skylanders: Swap Force" and more.
