| BT Online Bureau Washington Last Updated: August 6, 2013 | 16:15 IST  PHOTO: Associated Press South Korean electronics giant Samsung is likely to unveil the latest version of its flagship Galaxy Note - speculated to be called Galaxy Note III - on September 4, at the IFA conference in Berlin. According to a CNN report, the technology major is not officially revealing information about the new devices but its invitation and subsequent tweets include the phrase 'Note the Date', suggesting the possibility of a new Note device. The company called the event 'Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2', which will be live streamed via the web. Samsung will host a press event at the same time in New York City's Times Square for people to watch and get hands-on time with the devices. Speculations about the Galaxy Note III's launch gathered wind as the IFA Berlin has been the chosen event for Samsung to unveil the device's previous two variants too. Among other things, the new device's screen size is making the news the most. As competitors have responded to the Galaxy Note's success with larger screen sizes, the tech world is awaiting details if the Korean company will go a step further to up ante. Samsung is also rumored to enter the wearable computing market with its smart watch called 'Gear'. The Korean company will also have to brace for stiff competition from arch rival Apple Inc, which is expected to unveil the newest variant of its flagship iPhone during the same month. Gadget lovers in India, however, need not worry about there being a delay in getting their hands on the newest devices. Though Samsung already has a policy of launching its devices in the country at the same time as other large markets, Apple too has confirmed to Business Today that India will get the next iPhone in the first wave.
