Gionee CTRL V4 Launched in India at Rs 9999: 5 Potent Rivals to the Quad ... - Gizbot

Trying to catch up with the serious race of smartphones in the Indian market is Gionee which has again come up with its latest Android device called CTRL V4.
The trends has now taken a turn from latest features to budget friendly devices. Now, majority device manufacturers have already shifted to making a device that comes with the best specs at lower price.

Gionee, a Chinese brand which has recently entered Indian market has now launched smartphone called CTRL V4. Going by the specs, Gionee CTRL V4 has a 4.5 inch display that offers a FWVGA resolution of 480x854 pixels. The phone with dual SIM support is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor and runs on latest version of Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system. The device is also supported by 512 MB RAM.

Moreover, the CTRL V4 sports a 5 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. The 9.7 mm thick handset has a Yamaha PA 168 digital sound system for better sound output. connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and GPS. CTRL V4 comes in with an in-built 4 GB memory and has expandable memory slot of up to 32 GB. It is powered by a 1800 mAh battery.

Gionee CTRL V4 is available in white and black colors and has been priced at Rs 9,999. It comes with free 8 GB memory card and a phone case.

Gionee will not stop yet with this launch, as it is also said to be gearing up to launch the ELife E6 in China and India on July 10 at an event in Beijing.

As of now, Gionee CTRL V4 will have a serious competition with phones like Karbonn Titanium S1 which has the same features but is cheaper at Rs 8,599. Xolo Q800 and Q700, both priced at Rs 9,999, Intex Aqua Wonder and Lava Iris 458Q.

The Intex Aqua Wonder Quad Core comes with a 4.5 inch capacitive touch screen IPS display has a resolution of 540 X 960 pixels. Speaking of specs, Xolo Q800 will come with a 4.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Q800 features a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor and a 1.2MP front camera for video calling. The device is also supported by 1GB RAM and houses a 4GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB with a micro SD card slot. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS. The Xolo Q800 is powered by a 2,100 mAh battery. The device is currently priced at Rs. 11,500 on Flipkart.

Karbonn Titanium S1 features a 4.5 inch qHD multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor supported by a 1GB RAM. Internal storage capacity is 4GB that can be expanded via micro SD card slot. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Karbonn Titanium S1 sports a 5MP rear camera and a front facing VGA camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the device is powered by a 1,600 mAh battery. The device is currently priced at Rs. 9,990 on Flipkart.

Specwise, Q700 boasts a 4.5 inch IPS qHD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and 245 ppi pixel density. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and 238 MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU. Xolo Q700 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and is supported by 1GB RAM. It has a dual SIM support and sports a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash along with BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording. The quad core device also has a VGA front facing camera. It has a 4GB internal storage capacity that is expandable up to 32GB with micro SD. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and it is powered by a 2,400 mAh battery. The device is currently priced at Rs. 9,999 on Flipkart.

Iris 458q sports a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with FWVGA resolution of 540x960 pixels. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the latest iteration of the operating system. The homegrown device is powered by a powerful quad-core processor tuned to 1.2 GHz along with 512MB of RAM which enables smooth functioning of the phone.
