The device is, of course, to have lots of competitors on the shelves. We take its elder brother the Lumia 820, the second WP 8 phone from the firm as its contender. Indeed, the Lumia 820 Vs Lumia 620 battle is thrilling, because they almost address the same audiences. Both the devices are meant at budget conscious customers aside from the premium model of the line, the Lumia 920.

The new device, as we can read from rumors, will be known as Lumia 720. Maybe, it will be coming out of cover at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Spain. Before that, we seek answer for the question which of the 620 or 820 is the best one. Let's look at it here.

Plus, the former one has an LED flash and F2.4 aperture, while the latter features dual LED and F2.2. Both can capture 1080p video and they also have 0.3MP front facing cameras.

Software: This is the aspect that brings together these two handsets. They are running on Windows Phone 8, the latest and most advanced version of the software from Microsoft. It has many amazing features like a new Metro-style interface that shows off tile-based icons, exciting lock screen and social media integration options. Indeed, the support of Windows Phone 8 is the most important thing with these two handsets.

Connectivity: Of course, going by connectivity options, both the phones have almost equal feature in many areas. They have GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA and more. The Lumia 800 is a 4G LTE-enabled, while its younger brother has HSDPA+ (4G) at 21.1 Mbit/s. They also share options line Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and microUSB port.

Price, Availability: The Lumia 820, as you know, has been in stores for a while. Nokia released the device along with its flagship model the Lumia 920 for Windows Phone 8. The device is priced at $815 without SIM card. It is when the 620 was just announced late 2012. It is now coming to more markets for a price of $460 SIM free. Surely, it is not that cheap, anyway.
