REDMOND, Washington, March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
At the Microsoft Hosting Summit 2014, Gridpro announced the release of their IT Service Management add-on for Microsoft's Windows Azure Pack. Request Management for Windows Azure Pack enables users to submit, track and update incidents and requests for existing and new resources from within Windows Azure Pack.
"Our vision was to design a product that would empower both enterprises and hosters with capabilities to offer dynamic request management for their hybrid cloud. With the release of Request Management for Windows Azure Pack I truly believe that we have accomplished this" states Jonas Ullman, Managing Director and co-founder, Gridpro.
Windows Azure Pack brings Windows Azure technologies to customer and partner datacenters, enabling service providers (hosters or enterprise organizations) to offer rich, self-service, multi-tenant services consistent with Microsoft's public cloud offerings. By seamlessly combining this with System Center 2012 R2, offering easy publishing and consumption of IT services through a Service Catalog, Gridpro brings important IT Service Management capabilities to Microsoft's cloud management platform.
"Providers are able to engage with the customers, track progress, create and monetize new services easily, and most importantly automate the process" says Brian Hillger, Director, Product Marketing, Microsoft.
