Zync, a domestic smartphone and tablet brand, has launched a new phablet in India, dubbed Zync Z605. It is priced at Rs. 7,999, and is notable for its large display and 3G connectivity at its price.
The dual-SIM Zync Z605 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and features a 6.5-inch TFT capacitive multi-touch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The device is powered by an unspecified dual-core processor, which is paired with 512MB of RAM.
The camera optics included in the Zync Z605 includes a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera. The phablet comes with an in-built storage of 4GB and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The connectivity options on the Zync Z605 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G. The Z605 phablet has a battery capacity of 2500mAh, rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talktime (2G), which reduces to 2.5 hours when using 3G.
The Zync Z605 phablet weighs 250 grams, but dimensions are not given. The device additionally comes with some pre-loaded apps like Facebook, Twitter, Viber and WhatsApp.
