The combination of a cellular phone and a computer is essentially a tablet.
Tablets are known for being more accessible and mobile. While cell phones in themselves are mobile, the user interface is not as easy to use for many people. These reasons can include that he screen is bigger and simpler to use (usually for older people and children) and is also better to play games on. They come generally equipped with a camera, microphone and a touch screen user interface. Because of the touch screen, a mouse and keyboard are no longer needed. Due to their popularity, competition between electronic companies has become even stronger. A newer example of these revelries comes from the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Sony Xperia Tablet Z.
Into Space
The new edition of the Samsung Galaxy Note has come a long way since its original model. On the new edition a function called ChatON has enabled features that basically connect one's contacts and allow for more social interaction. ChatON is connected to another part of the system called My Page. While in a group chat or two or more people, each user can send texts, pictures, videos and audio files. Each of these files will then be saved to their Trunk file, which holds all other files saved to the device.
New Interface
The newest version of the Note comes equipped with a customized version of the TouchWiz UX software. Basically, TouchWiz provides the basic functionality required for this tablet to run various essential applications that are trademarks of the device and its operating system – namely the Gmail system and the Google Play store (which in turn provides access to a myriad of other apps). It also acts as the driver for using a stylus, providing users another option for analog input. With an alternative input also comes the possibility for additional stylus-specific apps and interactions within the user interface via the Air Command service. One of the more popular interactions available is handwriting recognition, which converts whatever the user writes with their stylus into normal text, with a variety of input and accessibility options. Many other independent apps have stylus support as well.
Tablet Z
In comparison to the Note, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z on the surface is a lot flashier. The Xperia does after all have a water and dust proof body. Aside from the resolution being 1920 X 1200 pixels compared to the Samsung Note's 2560 X 1600 pixels, the Xperia offers .1 more megapixels in its camera and .2 additional megapixels in the front facing camera. The processor for the Note is also one gigabyte more, thus making it much faster. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is most likely the better option for anyone looking to buy a tablet.
While both of these tables are very similar in their functionalities and abilities, a faster processor is generally the best choice to make. For anyone that may not need this device for playing games or using the internet regularly, a slower processor will work just fine.
