MUMBAI: The Gamdevi police that is probing Sunday's accident on Pedder Road where an Aston Martin collided with two other vehicles, injuring several, said they have got footage of the mishap from CCTVs installed at four spots.

To enhance the quality of the CCTV images with the help of advanced softwares, they will be sent to Kalina's forensic science laboratory.

While a 55-year-old man, Bansilal Joshi, had approached the police on Monday claiming he was driving the Aston Martin when the mishap took place, he has not been arrested yet.

In his statement to the police, he has said that he fled the spot after the mishap as he was scared. Reportedly, the police plan to procure the call detail records of Joshi's cellphone and its location at the time of the accident to verify his statement.
