Sony have unveiled the Sony Xperia SP and the Xperia L. Both are Android smartphones which are more affordable than Sony's flagship Xperia Z. Sony have really stepped up their game in recent months and today they've announced the Xperia SP and the Xperia L. Both are more affordable Android smartphones than Sony's Xperia Z which has been making quite a splash since it launched at the end of last month. The Sony Xperia SP is a mid-range smartphone that incorporates a similar design to Sony's flagship smartphone. While, the Sony Xperia L is an affordable mobile that features a "best-in class" HDR camera.   Sony Xperia SP The Sony Xperia SP adopts a very similar design to the Xperia Z. However, it's made from aluminium rather than glass , although sadly, it isn't waterproof like it's bigger brother. On a more positive note it should be less prone to pesky fingerprints, which plague the Xperia Z. Sony's Xperia SP has a 4.6 inch Mobile Bravia 2 display running at a resolution of 1280*720 pixels. While it comes pre-loaded with Android Jelly Bean and has 8GB of on-board memory and will land in the 2nd quarter of 2013.   We presume the Xperia L will be priced around £150 and if that's the case then we can see it selling in huge numbers.
