The social media giant Facebook is likely to make its first Indian acquisition. It is in talks to buy Bangalore-based product start-up Little Eye Labs, according to news reports.
Little Eye labs, which was founded in May 2012 by Giridhar Murthy, Kumar Rangarajan (also the CEO of the company), Satyam Kandula, and Lakshman Kakkirala, is involved in building mobile app analysis tools for app developers and testers. On Twitter, it has described itself as, "Performance analysis and diagnostic tool for Android developers, providing insights into battery, data, memory and more."
Little Eye Labs was part of GSF Accelerator's first batch and received funding between $100,000 and $20,000 early in 2013.
The Indian Software Product Industry Round Table (iSpirit) which is widely seen as a corresponding body of NASSCOM is said to be facilitating the deal between Facebook and Little Eye Labs.
