Tata storms into Nepal with the new Safari Storme SUV - Rush Lane

Tata Motors launched Safari Storme SUV in Nepal today, where it will be available at a base price of 37.85 lakh Nepalese Rupees (INR 23.70 lakhs). The 'Real SUV' as Tata calls it, will be available in three variants and six colors and will regale buyers in Nepal and Bhutan with fuel efficiency of 14 kmpl and supreme off road performance besides outstanding in-cabin comforts and a host of safety features.

Tata Safari Storme will be offered to buyers in Nepal through Sipradi Trading, the company's official distributors in the country since 1982. They have both sales and service networks across Nepal with 9 sales offices, 5 regional service centers besides 15 passenger vehicle showrooms and 12 service centers. Tata Safari Storme features 2.2 liter VariCOR engine, which delivers 140 PS power and 320 Nm torque. Fuel efficiency is at 14 kmpl where its 4×2 variant is concerned and at 13.2 kmpl in the 4×4 variant.

A robust and well designed exterior along with luxurious and spacious interior are its highpoints which make it ideally suited for long distance family travel. Safety features are at a premium with ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels, ABS with EBD and a switch to automatically cut off fuel supply to the engine and unlock and switch on a warning light in case of an emergency. Available in five colors of Urban Bronze, Sardinia Red, Pearl White, Pearl Champagne, Arctic Silver, the Safari Storme comes with two years of 75,000 kms warranty whichever is sooner.
