However, what good is a launch if there are no rumours and leaks surrounding it? However, this is not just a mere rumour. Nokia is all set to release the Nokia Asha 501 at the Delhi event today. The Nokia Asha 501 might be the Asha flagship model considering the large event Nokia has planned for the device. Also, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop recently said:  "We are continuing to renew our portfolio, which includes plans to announce innovation and new products in the Asha line in the days immediately ahead. That the new device set to be launched today is an all new Asha device is confirmed. What surprised us the most was not the Asha 501 leak but the phone's design. Nokia Asha series phones have so far been either QWERTY devices or touch-phones with two buttons – the green 'answer' button and the red 'end call' button. A la Samsung and Apple, looks like the Asha is set to be the next target for a courtroom battle. Except for the hardware buttons, we're guessing the other buttons are capacitive buttons. The device looks pretty small and handy. It quite resembles the lower-end Samsung models at a glance, with the squarish design with sharply curved edges and the hardware button placement. While the middle phone in red shows that the button will act as the 'back' button as it has the back arrow on it, the other two phones show just a circle with the button invisible. The button might have multiple functions depending on the application open. The devices, like the Lumia range, come in a variety of colours and are honestly, cute-looking. With barely a couple of hours, we can't wait till Nokia officially announces the Lumia 501!
