Samsung Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Young and Galaxy Flame: Specs, features - Northern Voices Online

Korean tech giant Samsung's recently introduced handsets Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Young and Galaxy Flames specs and features review makes interesting reading. The three are affordable handsets

Samsung is so fast in launching its handsets, that others are finding it hard to keep a tab on the number of smart-phone it launches on almost daily basis. Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy Grand and then the new handsets including Galaxy Young and Galaxy Flame. These are merely a few handsets that the company has introduced in recent months. In between there are numerous other handsets that don't really come in so exciting specs and features, nonetheless attract a large number of customers.

This policy of Korean tech giant Samsung seems to be paying handsomely as it is able t attract almost every important or even lesser important segment of smart-phone buyers to its fold. If you want the best handset, there is either Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note 2. But if you don't want to pay sky high price and still want to get great handset you have Galaxy Note original and Galaxy S2. Then for someone who wants good specs in smaller size, there is Galaxy S3 Mini and if someone wants a bigger handset with toned down specs, here come Galaxy Grand. Samsung is following a please all policy and it is giving it rich dividends.

After launching Galaxy Grand Duos Sammy is launching two more low-end phones are added to the Samsung's lineup of Android phones. The long-rumored Galaxy Young and Galaxy Flame with Android Jelly Bean have been confirmed by the South Korean tech giant. The devices are meant for customers who are budget conscious and don't want to spend much money on a phone. Both the handsets are nice products for budget conscious consumers and they do also share almost the same specs and innards. There is a change in display size of the devices, however. Here is our overview of the key features and specialties of the Samsung's new low-end Android handsets.

Both the handsets come loaded with 4.1 Jelly Bean. The new Android update adds smarter and intelligent user experience to the phones. Because of Android Jelly Bean's capability for "seamless screen transitions between apps and taking and sharing photos," the new Samsung phones are great products. Both the Young and Flame are powered by 1GHz processors and they have 4GB internal memory in common. Well, 1GHZ CPU is capable enough to provide you better operating speeds for great multitasking and faster web page loading. 4GB internal memory is less, but it is much more for a person, who wants to get a low-end phone like the Young or Flame.

As far as the battery of both the handsets is concerned, Samsung has packed 1,300mAh batteries inside both the Young and Flame. It will help users enjoy increased multimedia use and long talk time. Well, most of Samsung's handsets are known for their decent battery life. The handsets preload a variety of Samsung's native apps for better functions. Samsung Game Hub Lite is one that is meant to let you access to "fully-optimized" and "best-in-class" games. The S Cloud, Samsung's device management software, is also there. It is a nice way for you to sync and back up storage of information like contacts, SMSes, bookmarks and more.

Both the handsets come with a great feature of Motion UI: The new Samsung phones are known for their intuitive Motion UI. As per Samsung, you can "simply shake the devices to refresh and update widgets and other content." In case you are unable to pick up a call, "you can just turn over the device to mute the ringer," says Samsung in its press note. Fine, both the Young and Flame will come in two versions; single SIM and Dual SIM. You can buy dual SIM version in order to use two SIM cards at the same time. Samsung has indeed designed the devices with some innovative features to its dual SIM capability. "Hybrid Dual SIM lets you use 3G data on one SIM while receiving a call on the other SIM," says Samsung.

As far as Young is concerned, it comes with a smaller 3.27-inch display. It is a 480 x 320 resolution LCD screen. It has 768MB of RAM. The handset mounts a 3MP rear camera and a VGA front camera for video chats. You have features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS and digital compass in addition. "With a compact, curved frame, the Young has been designed with an ergonomic style and finished with simple clean lines, providing a comfortable grip. Beyond its chic design, the 3.27" full touch HVGA resolution screen makes viewing photos, messages and multimedia clear and detailed," says Samsung.  When it comes to the Flame, the device sports a somewhat larger 3.5-inch display with the same screen resolution. The handset has a 5MP rear camera with autofocus and other advanced features. It also has a VGA front camera, 512MB of RAM and optimal NFC as other attraction points. "The Fame is a stylish device coupled with a sophisticated, simple and powerful user experience," says Samsung. The handsets are really attractive for people who would love to go for budget handsets.
