Sony Xperia M2 with quad core CPU, 4GB storage priced @ Rs22K

Sony Xperia M2 may change the game in the mid-range smartphone category. The handset seems to be exceptional in looks and should do pretty well in the price conscious Indian market.

There is no denying the fact that in the Indian market people have to still buy handsets after paying full amount. It is completely different compared to the European and American markets where telecom companies give the handsets at subsidies rates and then make profit from data packages that they offer to smartphone users.

Sony-Xperia-M2Though Reliance made a start of sorts last year when it started giving iPhone 5S to customers with two year agreement the same way it happens in the US, but the price it was asking was sky–high compared to Indian standard. Later it further hiked the monthly charge and made it out of reach of common people further.

Nonetheless a start of sorts was made. But it is going to take a long time when people other telecome companies will start doing the same. The company's latest handset in the Indian market is going to get great response here among smartphone mavens. The handset that comes with dual SIM capability has been priced very wisely. Besides, the handset comes with good specifications and features. Japanese tech giant Sony's Xperia M2 has been priced at very attractive Rs 21,990. The handset seems to be good as far as specifications are concerned and will certainly attract many buyers here.

The handset comes with great mid-range specifications and features. When it comes to its display, the handset seems to be coming with a rather excellent 4.8-inch qHD display with 540×960 resolution. As far as its processor is concerned, the handset comes with 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400. The handset comes with 1GB RAM.  Its camera also seems to be excellent given its price tag from Sony. The rear camera comes with 8 mega pixel camera that comes with Exmor sensor and Autoscene Recognition. For video chatting the handset comes with a VGA front camera. When it comes to operating system the handset comes with Android v4.3 Jelly Bea.

To be true, one seems to have rightly said that everything good comes with some minuses. The handset comes with a huge disappointment as it has merely 4GB of internal storage. But it can be expanded by 32GB through MicroSD card. The handset comes with Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, Micro USB, USB tethering, NFC, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot etc that makes it look very enticing and high end. I am sure this is going to get great response in India.
