The company also launched the HTC Desire 210 for the entry-level Android buyers at Rs 8,700. The phone will feature most of the software tweaks seen in other HTC phones. The Desire 210 is a global launch out of India, emphasising the importance of the market for the Taiwanese smartphone maker. The new models will be available in India in a couple of weeks.
The HTC Desire 816 mid-level phone has also been priced at a very competitive Rs 23,990.
HTC South Asia president Jack Yang said the company is looking at India to be one of its best performing markets this year.
