If for some reason you decide to log on to Pinterest, you might notice that a few of your friends have started liking big butts, and cannot lie. A large, unspecified number of accounts have been almost entirely flooded with pics of butts and weight loss ads. Nice.
Accounts across the network were hacked last night. Apparently just clicking a butt photo will compromise your own account.
Like any site, as it has grown in popularity, it's become a larger target for scammers. However, it's very easy to keep your account safe and secure, by not using Pinterest. Which is a smart move regardless, because nobody really cares about a sad digital scrap book of your dream wedding, or gourmet meals you'll never actually make.
