Playstore on Nokia X

Nokia is likely to launch its X series of phones in India this week. The device's main claim to fame is its Android based Operating System, though it does not have Google Playstore on board it is exciting enough to attract a lot of buyers. What comes as a surprise is that the Nokia X smartphones are already rooted now and has Google Playstore, Gapps and Google now on board.

XDA developers are pretty popular for rooting phones and coming up with different tweaks for different phones. The team has successfully rooted the Nokia X OS to run Google services. With this root users will be able to customize the OS on the phone as per their will. Developers tweak around the AOSP codes, which is basically the Android OS and port them on phones, given the huge fan base of Nokia the device is likely to reach a lot of people. And that the demand for custom ROM is likely to go up.

With this root Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL will unofficially run Google services, this will void warranty though. We at Sulekha do not support the unlocking of bootloader or rooting the phone, this article is just to inform our readers that such rooting is now available for Nokia X phones.
