Moto X Hits Oz $549 - SmartHouse

It features Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (1.7GHz Dual-Core Krait CPU, quad-core Adreno 320 GPU), 10MP rear camera (with 4X digital zoom, burst mode), 2MP front camera with 1080p video, 2GB RAM, 16GB standard memory and 2 years 50GB free storage on Google Drive.  

Moto X supports 4G LTE network of all main telcos - Telstra, Optus and Vodafone.  

The pure Android phone - made by Motorola, which until recently was owned by Android creator, Google, runs version 4.4.2, KitKat. 

However, the Aussie version of X doesn't have the cool design your own phone feature called Moto Maker.


Moto X has a curved back, designed to fit in your hand and you can command X by saying "OK Google Now."

Google Now tool tells you stuff you need to know - like the best restaurant, or the weather in your current location.

"Moto X fuses our history of mobile innovation with the best of Google mobile services to create experiences that no other smartphone can match."

Motorola Connect extension for Google Chrome lets you see and respond to notifications and text messages from your desktop. 

It also has a handy Migrate tool that makes it easy to transfer the contents of your old phone onto the Moto X.

Although priced at $549, Mobicity is selling it for $649.
