Microsoft wants to make it easy for you to shift (upgrade) from Windows XP to a new Windows OS. The company has not started new offers for customers who are buying a new PC.
Microsoft US now offers $100 instant saving, free support for 90 days and free data transfer for customers who buy new PC. The offer is like this –
You get $100 discount when you buy a Surface Pro 2 or select PCs over $599.
You get free premium phone, chat, and sales support for virtually anything you need on your new computer for the first 90 days.
Microsoft has partnered with Laplink, a data migration service to ease the process of migrating to new device. This partnership will bring you free data transfer service to help you transfer your personal photos, videos, music, and files for free.
Note that support for MS Windows XP is ending on the 8th of April.
All you need to do to avail the offer is to make a purchase online with a Windows XP machine or take an XP PC to a physical Microsoft Store, says Cnet.
