Motorola Moto X is a very popular smartphone in the US and it all set to launch in India now. It comes from Moto's official Twitter handle stating that the device is likely to launch in India in the upcoming weeks. Whats special about Moto X is that it is the first smartphone that came after Google completely acquired Moto.
Google recently launched the Moto G, which created a lot of buzz in the market for being a feature loaded budget phone. The device was launched only a couple of weeks ago in India and has been pretty successful. Moto X will be the new entrant in the Indian market and it will be interesting to see how this device performs. Motorola and Google has optimized the Moto X to give a very good user experience, there are multiple customization options available for Moto X which helps the device stand out and look unique in the smartphone herd.
The Moto X comes with 4G LTE connectivity abreast of 3G. There is a 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Quad-Core processor paired with Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB RAM. There is a 10MP rear facing camera for photography and a 2MP front facing camera for video calling. Both the cameras comes with video recording feature. Moto X comes running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and has Android 4.4.2 KitKat update waiting for it already.
It has a 4.7-inch 720p display with 312PPI density, the display is based on AMOLED technology with support for 16-million colors. For all of these the device draws its power from a 2,200mAH battery placed under the hood. Lets see if this device also sells like a hot cake in Indian market.
