Moto G sold out in India: Moto G Vs Galaxy S4 Mini Vs iPhone 5C vs HTC One Mini - Northern Voices Online

This seems unbelievably low priced and well endowed handset. This is the reason that Motorola Moto G has been sold out in India. Moto G Vs Galaxy S4 Mini Vs iPhone 5C vs HTC One Mini comparison makes interesting reading.

Motorola's Moto G has made a great launch in the Indian market. Within a few hours its 16 GB version was sold out. The handset comes with the best that this price can buy not just in the Indian market but throughout the world. To be true in the Indian market where local startups have prided themselves in launching value for money smartphones with great specs and features and low price tags, Moto G has successfully beaten them in almost every sense. It comes with great display quality that can compete with top midrange handsets from any manufacturer, very powerful processor and impressive operating system in the form of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean that you can update to Android 4.4 KitKat, the latest firmware update.

This is the reason that there is so much excitement among smartphone mavens in the country. It was being awaited for months since its launch in the United States and now when it was launched with unbelievable price they lapped up to get hold of it. This is simply a superb handset. Here we compare the handset with three other great handsets including Galaxy S4 Mini and iPhone 5C and HTC One Mini.

Moto G and Motorola X have brought the company back to the discussion in smartphone market. Though Motorola's other recently launched handset Moto X didn't get the sort of response that it was expecting from the market, the new handset is going to bring the company, a Google affiliate, into the limelight once again. The handset comes with good build quality and great specifications and is almost priced less than half of its market competitors. The small and budget-friendly smartphone market is buzzing with a variety of quality contenders. In screen size, Moto G is the biggest of the quartet. It is built around a 4.5-inch screen, while S4 Mini and One Mini have the same 4.3-inch screens. Apple's candidate is the smallest one with a 4-inch screen.  In terms of resolution, both Moto G and One Mini have 720 x 1280 pixel screens, while S4 Mini has a 540 x 960-pixel screen and the smaller iPhone has a 640 x 1136-pixel screen.

The four handsets are not just affordable compared to other handsets from these companies they also come with their special USPs. When it comes to the software side of the four handsets, other than iPhone 5C, all devices run Google Android. The new iPhone certainly has the latest iOS 7 so like its big brother iPhone 5S. In case of Android models, Moto G, being the most recent one, has Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of box. Of course, being a Google official product, it lacks the brand new Android 4.4 KitKat, which Motorola has offered for January as firmware update. Meanwhile, both the Samsung and HTC midmarket models have Android 4.2 Jelly Bean under the hood.

In terms of innards all the four come with the best that the market can offer. When it comes to internal specifications, all the four handsets come with great specs. In common, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 chip is what boosts all Android models in the group, though each model featuring various processors and clocking speeds. Let us check out each product to see what works inside them to provide better power and stability.  Motorola Moto G is up with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, while the S4 Mini has a dual core 1.7GHz Krait processor and HTC One Mini is equipped with a dual-core 1.4GHz Krait 200 processor. When all models have Adreno 305 graphics cards, Moto G and One Mini have 1GB of RAM. The S4 mini packs 1.5GB of system memory. In case of iPhone 5C, the device features an Apple A6 chipset that is placed inside a 1.3GHz dual core Swift (ARM v7-based) processor, PowerVR SGX 543MP3 (triple-core graphics) GPU and 1GB of RAM.

Now things have improved so much that we cannot envisage a good smartphone without a high quality camera. Camera has become one of the most important part of smartphones these days. Moto G sports a 5MP 720p video recording rear snapper and a 1.3MP front facing camera for video chatting. Meanwhile, iPhone 5C and Galaxy S4 have 8MP 1080p video capturing rear sensors, and 1.9MP and 1.2MP front snappers. HTC One Mini has the innovative 4MP UltraPixel HTC mobile rear camera for 1080p video recording and 1.6MP front cam. All the four handsets come with different internal storage options. Moto G comes in two basic memory versions, i.e. 8GB and 16GB. It is when the S4 Mini is available in 8GB only, but is offering microSD slot that you can use to expand memory up to 64GB. You can buy the One Mini in only 16GB version, and iPhone 5C in 16GB and 32GB versions, with both having no microSD slots for external expansion of memory. To be true, except the camera, Moto G competes with all of them on almost every count.
