Samsung Galaxy S5?
The next big thing is here and Samsung is all set to launch the next big flagship, Samsung Galaxy S5. With less than 12 hours to go, the excitement is palpable. Samsung Galaxy S series have leveraged Samsung to the number one position in the smartphone market today and when you're high up there, expectations just shoot up. Samsung Galaxy S5 is all set to rock the world soon and Samsung is ensuring that the device is foremost in everyone's minds.
Just a day before the launch of Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung released a teaser video of the next big thing. While the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked event today in Barcelona, what we believe to be the first look of the device can be seen in the video. Apart from showing the phone, Samsung has let out many hints regarding the features of the all new S5.
The teaser video shows a lot of words on the screen and each word comes with a superscript 5 giving more than a clear hint that the phone will be the Samsung Galaxy S5. Also, the words themselves are hints at some of the features the phone might come with. In one if the images, a couple is shown on a beach with two phones. The phone on the left might be the teaser Samsung Galaxy S5.
If true, then this hints at Samsung Galaxy S5 actually sticking to rumours and sporting a dust-proof and water-resistant screen. The beach, which equals sand plus water and the couple using the phone there, are clear enough hints. Also, there's a slide which says 'wet' further strengthening the belief that Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with a water-resistant display.
On the specifications front, Samsung Galaxy S5 will run the latest Android KitKat version 4.4.2. But naturally, Samsung's TouchWiz UI will run on top of Android. The phone will sport a 5.25-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and come with a 2k display resolution. Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and 559 ppi pixel density.
