Sensors in your bra, on your wrist, attached to your chest, in the ears - Authint Mail

Okay, I will admit when I heard that this new item was launched at CES, I said to myself, "you have gotta to be kidding me!" However, after studying this "device" very carefully to write my article, I can now say for certain, "You gotta be kidding me!

"When we think of "wearables" we think of eyewear and wristwear – but CES 2014 has shown us that wearables extend to health care products, such as the items developed by iHealth that will monitor your pulse/oxygen levels, blood pressure, and even monitor your heart and send an EKG to your smartphone. Well, now it seems that a company called Sensoria, is now extending the wearables department to a Fitness Bra (I did not get assigned that one, darn it), a Fitness T-Shirt, all the way down to our feet, with Sensoria Fitness Socks for only $199 a pair – on sale now to preorder for only $149, with shipping to start in March.

As far as socks go, they come in four colors – White, Black, Pink, and Blue – and in quite an assortment of sizes for Women (7-12) and Men (6-10).  However, that is "wear" the similarities end.  The website claims that Sensoria Fitness Socks are made from a "high-tech running friendly fabric," and include one electronic anklet that magnetically snaps on the cuff of one sock, one anklet charger, and a dedicated mobile app that "guides you through real-time audio cues while you run.

"Sensoria explains that the socks are "infused with proprietary 100-percent textile sensors," that pair, via Bluetooth, with a detachable anklet to your smartphone.  It will monitor step counting, speed, calories, altitude, distance, and also tracks your cadence, the way your foot lands, and your weight distribution as you walk and run.  All of this can help you identify and prevent injury-prone running styles.  The anklet will also store up to two weeks of data if you do not want to take your smartphone with you on your run. They work with Android 4.3 and higher, as well as iOS 6 and above and Windows Phone 8x.

Please let us know on our Google+ Page if these wearable socks are something that you would purchase, to go along with that wearable wig from Sony, Sensoria Bra and T-Shirt. At Android Headlines, we have you covered from top-to-bottom, well just to your feet for now…Smart Jockey Shorts might be the next new "wearable," and we do not even want to go there..
