Tata DoCoMo has launched Photon Max Wi-Fi, a product that helps users create their own Wi-Fi Zone anywhere and access the Internet through a laptop, desktop, tablet or phone. The dongle priced at Rs 1,999 can serve up to 5 devices simultaneously and will help in creating a new telecom ecosystem of Internet on Wi-Fi, said company officials. This device is powered by Qualcomm Gobi with dual processor technology ensuring faster connectivity for a superior multimedia experience, according to Tata DoCoMo officials.
Elango T, President Operations, Mobility, Tata DoCoMo said: "We believe that data segment is the next frontier of growth that will offset slowing voice revenues and products like Photon Max Wi-Fi will help boost our data revenues."
