Motorola Moto G India launch in January with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box - Northern Voices Online

This is certainly an exceptional handset. Motorola Moto G India launch in January with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box

It is just two days when Motorola Moto G was showcased in the USA with a very low price tag. With mid-range specifications and features and so low price, the mixture is going to be very lethal and make the handset from this Google subsidiary an instant hit. To be true while its first and better endowed sibling Motorola Moto X that remained in rumors for months and months failed to cut much ice with the smartphone lovers across the world, the new handset that came almost without much rumor mongering is expected to be a sure winner in the smartphone market.

It is amazing as to how Motorola has managed to priced such a great handset at such a low price. 4.5-incher Moto G with 720p edge-to-edge display that comes with Gorilla Glass 3 and all other high and mid-range specifications and features. At just $179 the Motorola Moto G seems insanely low priced, but from smartphone fans' perspective this is simply great.

Latest reports suggest that Motorola's Moto G will be coming to India after some two months. So the users will have to endure the wait till January when it will be unveiled here. But the good thing about is the fact that the handset will come to India with Android 4.4 KitKat and not Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. This is a great consolation for the Indian smartphone lovers. Mark Randal, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Operations of Motorola while replying about Android 4.4 KitKat rollout plans for Moto G said that the company will be shipping the smartphone with Android 4.4 KitKat after Christmas.

The handset has caught the eyes of smartphone lovers across the world. It is a 4.5-inch handset with a 720p edge-to-edge display that can resist scratches and mild falls thanks to Corning's new Gorilla Glass 3 support. The device is also wrapped in a water-resistant nano-coating so that you can even carry it to the pool to make calls and surf web. Other specs and key features of the much-hyped Moto G are mentioned below. Under the hood, the new Motorola handset is built around a Snapdragon 400 chip-based 1.2GHz quad core Cortex-A7 processor, 1GB RAM and an Adreno 305 graphics card. Unfortunately, the handset misses out the new Android 4.4 KitKat; instead it has arrived with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Motorola has offered to update Moto G with KitKat in two months.  Besides, the handset has a reasonably decent camera that takes decent pictures. Moto G comes with a nice 5MP rear shooter that can record video at only 720p.
