AMERICAN PHONE MAKER Motorola's Moto G smartphone has appeared on Amazon UK priced at £160, ahead of its unveiling on 13 November.
Last week Motorola sent out invitations for an event in London on 13 November where it will unveil its budget Moto G smartphone. Before Motorola could take the wraps off the smartphone however, Amazon UK listed the handset on its website, confirming its £159.99 price and prompt 14 November release date.
Before it was removed the listing read, "Moto G is designed for all the things you want to do - taking and sharing photos, watching videos, checking scores, getting directions, listening to music, you name it.
"Moto G also gives you choices. Different backs you can switch out to reflect your unique style, and access to more than one million apps on Google Play to create your own mobile experience. Every detail is just how you'd like it."
It looks like Motorola won't have much to reveal on Wednesday, as the handset's full specifications have also been leaked. Set to launch as a cheap alternative to the US-only Moto X, the Motorola Moto G will feature a 4.5in 1280x720 resolution display, a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Google's Android 4.3 Jelly Bean mobile operating system, rather than the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat version.
There's also talk of a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, HSDPA+ support, 8GB of internal storage and a 1,950mAh battery.
We'll be at Motorola's event on 13 November, so check back then for all the latest details. µ
