Lenovo has announced the launch of IdeaPad Flex, a dual-mode notebook PC with 10 point multitouch.

Powered by the Windows 8 operating system, the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex is a feature-rich laptop which can be flipped 300 degrees, the company said in a statement.

The 14-inch notebook enables users to switch between laptop and stand modes. The laptop mode is the classic mode for notebook PCs that features an integrated keyboard and touchpad while the stand mode is designed for touch usage and social functionality. The design of the device makes the stand mode a more convenient to enjoy touch applications.

The 10 point multitouch enhances the touch experience allowing users to work with ease and more flexibility, the release said.

The laptop also features a voice control system, which allows users to execute simple commands with their voices.
