Internet giant Yahoo has reportedly acquired a California-based startup with latest technology, which enables artificial intelligence into a platform for image search and discovery, LookFlow.
As per AllThingsD, LookFlow will associate with the Flickr unit and help Yahoo build a 'deep learning group'.
Acquisition of LookFlow by Yahoo is the latest in CEO Marissa Mayer's list of other business acquisitions, which also includes the mega purchase of Tumblr for a whopping 1.1 billion dollars, with an objective to revive the once-popular search site.
The terms of the latest deal are however undisclosed, the report added.
