This new Sony smartphone has been up for pre-order with various online retailers since earlier this month. Now the Xperia C has officially launched in the Indian market and Sony has priced this smartphone for 21,490 INR.
The Sony Xperia C smartphone was first unveiled at the Mobile Asia Expo and the device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor which is clocked at 1.2GHz. This is the very first Sony smartphone which uses a MediaTek SoC.
The device has a 5-inch qHD resolution display, it features an 8 megapixel camera, has 1GB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage capacity which is further expandable using a microSD card. Sony claims the the battery on this smartphone will provide 14 hours of talk time and up to 588 hours of standby.
The Xperia Z is a dual-SIM capable smartphone which further supports 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in terms of connectivity. It comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and the company will offer the device in three colors – black, white and purple.
