The Panasonic T31 features a 4-inch WVGA (800x480) display and is powered by 1.3GHz dual core processor (unspecified chipset) along with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone measures 122x64.4x11.95mm and weighs 120 grams. The Panasonic T31 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and supports FOTA upgrade. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB with microSD card.
Panasonic's T31 smartphone sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera, and also houses a VGA front-facing camera. It is a dual-SIM smartphone with support for GSM+GSM. The T31 will be available in Bluish Black and Pure White colour variants. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and 3G. It also packs a 1300mAh battery.
Commenting on the launch, Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India said, "We have already launched four premium models since our entry into the segment and will continue to offer a wide range of phones in India. With our latest offering- the T31 - we aim to go beyond the metros & cater to our consumers across tier-II/III cities and deliver a remarkable mobile experience to the Indian mass consumers."
Not too long ago, Panasonic launched three new mid-range dual-SIM smartphones, the Panasonic P11, T11 and T21, all three of which are based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
