Amazon adds India to its Android app - IBNLive

New Delhi: Amazon.in announced the availability of its app for Android users in India. In other words, the company has now added India to its Android app. Customers already using Android app for any of the international Amazon stores can simply switch the country to India and shop on Amazon.in.

The app gives Android users in India access to the full selection of products available on www.amazon.in including books, movies, mobiles, electronics, toys, baby, personal care appliances, health care devices, watches, fashion jewellery, home & kitchen products and more.

New customers can sign up for an account using the Amazon App, while existing customers can login using their Amazon.in username and password to access the same account they use on the Web.

Customers already using Android app for any of the international Amazon stores can simply switch the country to India and shop on Amazon.in.

Using the app, customers can now scan a barcode or type a product name to check availability and prices for that item on Amazon India. Amazon.in offers over nine million books, over 130,000 products from hundreds of brands, and more than 1.9 million eBooks.

The Amazon App for Android is available on any Android phone as a free download through Play Store and through Amazon Appstore.
