Google seems to be having technical trouble with Gmail and Google Docs.

The company's Apps Status Dashboard points to a disruption with both services as of 7:25 a.m. PT on Monday. The page also lists Google Presentations separately. Google's status notes don't provide any details except to say that the company is investigating reports of an issue and will provide more information shortly.

Web site tracker Isitdownrightnow doesn't reveal any problems accessing Gmail, but fellow tracker Downrightnow indicates a likely disruption for Google's e-mail service.

The latest updates from Google's App Status Dashboard point to a delay in the delivery of some e-mail messages and the possibility of file attachments failing to download. The company indicated that service has been restored for some users. In an earlier status update, Google said the e-mail delays were affecting less than 50 percent of Gmail users. Google Documents access has also been restored, according to the dashboard.

Updated 1:30 p.m. PT with latest data from Google's App Status Dashboard.
