Watch Nissan Terrano Blockbuster unveil directed by Kabir Khan - Rush Lane

Nissan Terrano was officially unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai yesterday. Though no price was revealed, Nissan India did confirm that bookings will begin from 1st Sep 2013, from a sub Rs 10 lakh price tag. To be offered in the same segment as Renault Duster, Terrano will come with slightly updated features. Though based on the Renault Duster, it is unlike their other alliance sharing products, Pulse-Micra and Sunny-Scala as Nissan has tried to give a distinct look to Terrano. Nissan has incorporated the same design language which which features on their successful SUV models, like Pathfinder. Terrano gets new steering wheel and sheet metal changes, new interiors with an upmarket feel. Front gets sharp looking headlights, Nissan's traditional chrome grille and honeycomb layout; whereas rear gets completely redesigned tailgate and taillights. Terrano will be competing with Ford EcoSport and alliance partner Renault's Duster. It is Nissan's first SUV to be produced locally. It will be available with 1.5ltr K9K engine with both, diesel and petrol options. Prices are yet to be disclosed. Launch is expected in October, 2013 and bookings to start from September, 2013. Speaking about the unveiling, the show, titled as 'Terrano Blockbuster Showcase', was directed by Kabir Khan, known for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bollywood movie, Ek Tha Tiger.
