Nokia Phablet to Sport 20MP Camera - Indiatimes.com

Nokia's 6-inch phablet has been making news with atleast one leak a day. And the latest leak, which could add some thrill to the device, is that Nokia Bandit will feature a 20 MP camera.

Nokia has been focusing on camera features right since the launch of their Lumia series phones with more advanced features and improved camera experience. While Nokia recently launched Lumia 1020, the next Lumia flagship with a 41 MP PureView camera, there are no other Nokia phones that come with an improved camera resolution.

If true, Nokia's Bandit phablet will take Sony's much leaked phablet Honami heads-on and the competition will be intense between the two smartphone giants. Sony Honami is also expected to come with a 20 Mp camera. However, there is no other word as to the other camera specifications like the lens, image and shutter speed, etc. Also, it is still unclear as to what software features the camera will incorporate.

Apart from the camera, Nokia Bandit will apparently come with a full HD display. The 6-inch mark will definitely mean improved resolution and this might be Nokia's phablet with a 1080p resolution. Under the hood will run a quad-core processor. There's no word on the RAM and Nokia is notorious for providing WP8 devices with a low RAM. We just hope tradition isn't carried over the Bandit phablet.

If rumours are true then this would be Nokia's next flagship with high powered specifications. Apart from the 6-inch phablet, Nokia is also rumoured to launch a Nokia tablet and a 5-inch device.

Nokia recently lost its stronghold in India as Samsung rose to the number one position. The Finnish phone-maker is contemplating a buy-out and this new line-up might be Nokia's last attempt at saving face and entering the game once more.
