| There is no denying the fact that Finnish tech giant Nokia's Lumia 1020 camera features put compact system camera to shame With the unveiling of Nokia Lumia 1020, the world of mobile photography landscape has undergone a complete change with some experts believing that it might take over the compact system camera with its basic point-and-shoot approach. Featuring a massive 41MP camera Nokia claims that that some of the features on the PureView camera were only found on DSLRs. The Lumia's size and portability is much closer to a compact camera than a DSLR, and like many compact cameras, it has a fixed focal length lens. The camera features a Xenon flash, which has a white balance closer to daylight or about 5,600-5,800 Kelvin, rather than the blue hue given off by LED flash units. The flash is powerful too. According to the Finnish company the flash pulse is very fast and the subjects can be frozen while retaining ambient light. While flash photography on a smartphone is rarely ever pretty, it's not bad on the Lumia 1020.
Despite the 41 MP camera the users have an option of using it on various aspect rations. On an aspect ratio of 16:9, the users can taking 34MP photos and at 4:3 and you're taking 38MP photos.
