The German-based automaker Mercedes-Benz is planning to introduce the brand new GLA compact crossover next month, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. This is coming at a time when industry watchers say the GLA is no longer a surprise for anyone who is constantly looking at the automotive industry. But it seems that the company's vehicle is closer to its future customers than previously thought as the model will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Don't get too excited because the model in question will probably be a concept or a prototype. Even so, the final production version of the GLA is said to hit the assembly line in early 2014, so by next spring, the model should arrive in showrooms in September. It will use a 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, which will produce a total output of 208 HP, mated to a new seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
