Following a string of rumours, LG unveiled its much-anticipated G2 smartphone - the first smartphone introduced under LG's new 'G' Series for premium devices. The LG G2 is LG's latest flagship smartphone. The LG G2 features a 5.2-inch full HD IPS display (423 ppi). LG says that its Dual Routing technology reduced the phone's bezel to 2.65mm on the side edge. The LG G2 is packed with a 3000 mAh battery. The phone has a 13 megapixel rear camera with OIS and a 2.1 megapixel front camera. What makes the device unique is the placement of the power button and volume keys on the phone. The LG G2 places all the buttons on the rear of the device, thereby making it the first smartphone to be completely devoid of side buttons. The rear key is the only physical key on the LG G2. LG believes that moving the main buttons to the back of the phone gave users more control since this place was where individuals' index fingers are naturally located. Running on Android 4.2 OS, the LG G2 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The phone will be available in two variants - 16GB and 32GB. It will come in two colours - black and white. This is the QuickWindow smartphone case for the LG G2, which allows users to glance at information displays without having to open the cover flap. The QuickWindow UX can be displayed with a swipe of a finger. The LG G2 will be rolled out in over 130 wireless carriers in the next eight weeks starting in South Korea followed by North America, Europe and other key markets. Specific dates for market availability will vary by region and carrier. via Technology - Google News http://news.google.com/news/url?sa=t&fd=R&usg=AFQjCNE6M7BHirdXXlwntRUBA9Mn1NenMw&url=http://ibnlive.in.com/photogallery/14141.html | |||
