(Credit: Brian Bennett/CNET) AT&T has gotten first dibs in the U.S. on the HTC One Mini. Making its debut in the United States this Friday, August 23, the diminutive smartphone will be offered exclusively to AT&T customers, the carrier announced on Monday. Buyers can pick up the phone for $99.99 with the standard two-year agreement. The HTC One Mini borrows several features from its bigger brother but comes in in a smaller, thinner, and lighter package. Equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD screen, the Mini offers a 720p display. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core 1.4 GHz processor provides the engine, while HTC's 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera provides the photos. Like the HTC One, the Mini also offers HTC BlinkFeed, a way to see all of your social network feeds and other updates from the home screen. HTC Zoe lets you shoot and edit a series of photos and a 3-second video. And HTC BoomSound pumps up the volume with dual front-facing speakers and a built-in amplifier.
