BMW 1-Series pre-bookings begin - Daily News & Analysis

Looking to buy the BMW 1-Series? You can be amongst the first by pre-booking the upcoming hatchback as BMW India, it seems, has already started accepting the pre-bookings. According to our good friends at Indian Autos Blog, the carmaker has sent out email notification to potential buyers, updating them about the new 1-Series. To sweeten the deal, BMW is offering what it calls 'BMW Service Inclusive Plus' for free for the first 100 customers.   The 1-Series will be offered with both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol model uses a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine producing 138PS of power, while the diesel model comes with a 2-litre turbocharged unit producing 145PS of power. The 1-Series gets an ARAI certified fuel economy figure of 16.28 kmpl and 20.58 kmpl for petrol and diesel model respectively.
