Will it get good response in the market? I am not sure as Vespa VX 125 with 125cc engine, front disc brake, tubeless tyre is priciest at Rs 71380. Many will simply be wondering as to why a scooter has been priced so high. New Vespa VX with 125cc air cooled engine, MRF tubeless tyres has been launched in India. The latest Vespa VX with 125cc engine has been priced so high that it is really hard to understand the reason and the fact that scooters with around Rs 40000 price tag also come equipped with the same engine. We were hoping that the Italian company Piaggo will be putting at least 150cc engine inside the beautiful body of the new Vespa VX, but a disappointment was in store when the company released it as the scooter comes with the same old 125cc aircooled engine, the same that it has fitted in its old and considerably cheaper scooters available readily in the Indian market. For many people this is a thing that has not been very impressive for them.
Though the scooter is pricey, nonetheless it is also a very feature rich scooter. The new scooter from Vespa comes with many great features including a disc-brake variant for its latest scooter model. The latest showcased scooter comes equipped with 200mm front disc brake and a tyre that will make the problem on punctures in scooters, a history. Specifications supplied by the company suggest that New Vespa VX 125 will come with tubeless MRF Zapper tyres. Despite being priced so high, the bike was expected to be equipped with at least 150cc engine. But to the disappointment of many of its fans, the scooter comes with the same old 125cc four stroke engine, rated at 10 HP and 11 Nm.
