Toyota celebrates Innova sales figures with Chrome Edition - Business Today

To celebrate the feat, Toyota has now launched a special edition of the model, with a chrome kit. The kit, an accessory pack, is designed for the GX variant of the Innova diesel and petrol models. The Innova GX Diesel is priced at Rs 15.5 lakh, on-road Bangalore. Some of the accessories offered in the kit can also be fitted to the top-of-the-line VX variants of Innova. Buyers will have to pay an extra Rs 31,000 for the kit, which will be available at all Toyota dealerships across India. In addition, the Innova's Chrome edition will have chrome touches to the front grille, door handle, Wheel Arch Moulding, muffler cutter, surrounds for the turn indicators and inserts on wing mirrors. The Innova is built on the IMV platform, the same platform that underpins the Fortuner SUV. It comes with two engine options - a 2.5 liter D-4D turbo diesel engine outputting 102 PS-200 Nm, and a 2 liter petrol engine good for 132 PS-181 Nm. The model is available in 7 seat and 8 seat variants. The top end versions of the Innova come with ABS+EBD and twin airbags as standard safety equipment.
