The Nokia 208 takes the standard candybar design with 2.4-inch display and splash-proof 12-button keypad, and adds a two-part construction, similar to that of the Nokia Lumia 520, which brings protection and a splash of colour to the back and sides of the phone. It is set to launch in four colours: Red, Cyan, White and Black and the shell covers can easily be swapped out for an alternative shell. The Nokia 208 comes with a 2.4-inch screen with 320 x 240-pixel resolution. On the back of the phone you'll find a 1.3-Megapixel camera and when it comes to connectivity there is Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam sharing, microUSB, 3.5mm AV connector and AHJ headphone support. Along with the camera you'll find smart features such as voice-guided self-portrait, sequential shot and panorama mode, which we first saw on the Nokia 301 launched earlier this year. The Nokia 208 supports networks using GSM 850/900/1800/1900 WCDMA 850 or 900/1900 or 2100 frequencies – these will vary according to local requirements. Fitted with a 1020mAh battery, it offers up a Talk time of up to 4.5 hrs (3G) and up to 12 hrs (2G). This wouldn't be a Nokia without an impressive standby time of up to 33 days. You'll find Mail for Exchange is supported, so your calendar and contacts are constantly in sync, while the Nokia 208 also offers Internet connection sharing, allowing you to use it as a USB modem in conjunction with your laptop. Other apps included are Nokia Xpress Browser, as well as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp. The Nokia 208 Dual-SIM version comes with Easy Swap Dual SIM technology. Both versions of the Nokia 208 are set to cost $68 USD, before taxes, when they launch in Q3 of this year. ![]() via Technology - Google News http://news.google.com/news/url?sa=t&fd=R&usg=AFQjCNH5DBwD0oU8x52c8mo80Gb650SXCg&url=http://www.noknok.tv/2013/07/03/nokia-208-and-dual-sim-variant-budget-phone-due-in-q3/ | |||
