Nokia 301 feature-rich and affordable New Delhi: Nokia 301, a S40 platform, the latest high-end offer from Finnish brand Nokia has officially made its entry into the Indian market. With this handset, Nokia hopes to cater to the Indian youth which is not only looking for high speed 3.5G connectivity but also does not want to loosen their purse strings much. The handset was already available on e-commerce sites, but its official launch was made only recently in India. In an effort to make it affordable to the masses, Nokia 301 has been moderately priced at Rs. 5,349. This basic handset is an umbrella to 'n 'number of surprising features, which are otherwise a preserve of android based phones. The phone with a 2.4 inch display with traditional keypad is available in 'candy bar' design in yellow, cyan, magenta, black and white colour. Nokia 301 has everything going for it that any tech freak would want. It has a 3.2 megapixel smart camera, which allows you to take 3x zoom images, choose image capture, editing and sharing options. The image options include the Panorama effect, sequential shots (which takes 5 photos in one shoot) and self portrait which can be taken with the phone's rear camera. With 3.5G connectivity, it allows you to go through YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and use Whatsapp. Not only this, it provides you the facility of checking mails as it comes with Xpress browser which offers twice the browsing speed. The user can also share their pictures, videos and files through bluetooth without actually connecting to it. The best part of the phone is its battery back-up, which is one of its main attractions. The phone has a long battery life which will last for 2-3 days. The storage capacity of Nokia 301 is of 256 MB, expandable to 32 GB. Also it has the dual SIM feature, which allows people to change the SIM without even turning off the handset.
