13MP quad-core Titanium S9 launched at R 19990, will compete with Canvas 4 - Daily Bhaskar

While Micromax readies to challenge Samsung with a perfect Galaxy S4 killer, Karbonn has  launched a true competitor of the Canvas 4.   The company has announced 5.5-inch HD IPS (1280 x 720 pixels display resolution) Titanium S9 in India. The phone boasts a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, which is similar to the Canvas 4. The Canvas is expected to sport the latest quad-core from MediaTek MT658 at the same speed. The Karbonn phone will run the latest 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The best part is 13 megapixel primary camera and 5 megapixel secondary camera. The Canvas 4 will also sport a 13 megapixel and 5 megapixel camera.   Now that's almost the same specs, expect the screen size, in which Karbonn exceeds by 0.5 inches. The Canvas 4 is expected to sport a 5 inch display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection just like the others in the Canvas series.   On the price from the Karbonn phones seems to be winning. Though the price of the Canvas 4 is not yet know, we don't expect this phone to come at a below Rs 20000 point, where as the Karbonn Titanium S9 is will come at Rs 19990.   It is also important to note that while the Canvas 4 promises an air gesture feature, lava promises a hand movement recognition gesture in IRIS 504Q, this Karbonn phone has nothing special to offer. Also the display screen protection is Karbonn Titanium S9 is not know. So, in case one has to pay a few hundred more the added feature and extra protection compensates for the price you pay.
