After Feliz, Maruti unveils CNG Ertiga; price starts at R 6.52 lakh - Daily Bhaskar

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki on Saturday launched the CNG variant of its Ertiga MPV, the 'Ertiga Green', pricing it up to Rs 7.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The CNG variant of the multipurpose vehicle will be available in two variants. With this, Ertiga will now be available in all three fuel variants: CNG, petrol and diesel. While the base version will be available for Rs 6.52 lakh, the top-end version can be yours for Rs 7.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Ertiga has been a success with over 87,000 units sold since its launch last April, although its sales have tapered off in the recent months. Other Maruti vehicles available with factory fitted CNG kits are Alto, Wagon R, Eeco, SX4 and Estilo. Earlier, Maruti had unveiled the facelifted Ertiga in what seemed like a bid to rejuvenate the demand for its MPV in the face of rising competition from rivals such as the Chevrolet Enjoy. Maurti then decided to keep the anniversary specials on sale for now in order to keep sales high in an otherwise sluggish market. The Ertiga Feliz comes with a host of cosmetic changes including a new interior styling kit, a reverse parking sensor with digital display, seat covers and car pillows with Feliz branding, back pocket organiser, steering wheel cover and door sill guard and floor mats.
